Srinija Kodam
Hi! I'm a mandala and pattern artist who finds inspiration in the little joys of life from everyday objects that often go unnoticed. I started my journey with mandala art in 2018, and since then, it has become my peaceful escape and a form of meditation. Along the way, I've explored other art forms like doodling, calligraphy, henna, clay art, and acrylic painting all of which have helped me grow as an artist and as a person.

Art has taught me how to be calm, present, expressive and now I love sharing that experience with others. Whether you're a beginner or just looking to reconnect with your creative side, I'm here to guide you through the process with warmth and encouragement. If you're someone who wants to learn and create with me, I'd be so happy to instruct and share my knowledge!

Srinija Kodam is available for private bookings

?Clearing and Purification - Vulture Totem,? 12?x16? watercolor and white & gold ink on paper, is the first in a series of spirit animals I?ve been working on. This image came about during a meditation while I was reconnecting with my spiritual side. We were guided to envision one of our main spirit animals (mine was the egret), and then its shadow side - and the vulture came to mind for me.I later researched the spiritual meaning of the vulture, and it hit home with everything that was goin

Walter was a happy-go-lucky farm dog. He wasn?t the brightest bulb in the box, but his heart was pure gold. Life didn?t start out easy for him. My dad and I found him one winter day, hidden among the snow-covered sage bushes while we were out harvesting for an order. We were both startled when we saw a pair of eyes peeking out from a spot he had burrowed to stay warm. He was painfully thin, his skin sagging on a big-boned frame, and his face was hollow with hunger and fear. It was clear he?d

I visited Mozambique in 2019 while my granddaughter was serving in the Peace Corps. My painting represents the traditional customs of Mozambique and the modern aspects as well. The material I used for each painting are authentic capulanas, the fabrics of Mozambique. Capulanas are not just fabrics used for garments, they are a symbol of Mozambican identity and cultural heritage. I received several as gifts.

This was one of the corvettes entered in the Wiregrass Car Show in Wesley Chapel, FL. My husband enters his truck at car shows and I love painting the entries of others. Old cars, to me, make great subjects and in this painting I captured the owner sprucing up his baby in preparation of the judging. The management of these events will sometimes let me have an exhibit of the cars I paint and it is thrilling for the owners to see their cars as a painting. I love watercolor but I have done many

I was researching Arizona Native Americans and found Geronimo very interesting. Quote: "He was a fierce leader of the Apache tribe who fought against Mexican and American invaders for decades. He was also a prisoner, a farmer, and a writer. He was Geronimo." I used several photos as inspiration and the painting is what I came up with.

I spent the summer of 2024 developing this art form. I am free-forming epoxy resin and fusing. This allows me to layer and make 3D sculptures and relief from a medium not typically suited for this purpose. At this time, I have not found anyone else who has done this with epoxy resin. It appears to be glass, but it's not.Artist Statement:Virginia Alden's artistry is a vibrant synthesis of nature and craftsmanship, where each piece is meticulously hand-formed or painted from epoxy resin.
